Inspired by the Holy Spirit to embark on his journey as a debut author, Michael began his career as a pharmacist, progressing into executive roles at Walmart in healthcare, talent, and strategy specialties. He later founded Rendezvous Junction Brewing Company and Harvest Workforce Solutions, merging his passions with professional acumen and entrepreneurial spirit. His expertise in leadership, talent strategies, and relationship science guides his work. Deeply rooted in his faith in Christ, Mike resides in Rogers, Arkansas with his wife, Jeanette, enjoying the love and laughter of their two daughters, their husbands, and a continually growing circle of grandchildren.
Mike's Story
From the bustling aisles of Walmart to the cozy ambiance of a microbrewery, Mike’s journey is a testament to diverse passions and relentless pursuits. Born and raised in Holdenville, Oklahoma, Mike’s educational path led him to Southwestern Oklahoma State University where he was molded into a promising pharmacist.

His robust career, spanning three decades at Walmart, has seen him wear multiple hats, from pharmacy practice, operations leadership, to talent and healthcare strategy. Revered not just for his business acumen, Mike is synonymous with servant leadership, talent stewardship, and as a guiding light for budding professionals.

Post-Walmart, Mike’s collaboration with Relations Research became the cornerstone for leaders navigating the intricacies of professional relationships. His unyielding passion for service led to the creation of Harvest Workforce Solutions, a boutique firm that embodies his commitment to leadership and talent. Additionally, the inception of Rendezvous Junction Brewing Company in Rogers, Arkansas, showcased his entrepreneurial spirit, where he artfully blends his leadership prowess with his love for brewing.

Yet, it was during a critical surgery following a serious accident, and a subsequent battle with COVID-related complications, that Mike’s journey took a dramatic turn. He experienced a momentary death, followed by multiple brushes with mortality during a grueling battle against the virus that further marked significant turning points in his life. These combined experiences of a miraculous return to life and harrowing recoveries awakened a deep spiritual transformation within him.

Amidst this transformation, Mike has begun laying the groundwork for 'Reliably His', dedicating his time to offering resources, encouragement, and support to guide believers in cultivating a more reliable relationship with Christ. This initiative, in its early stages, reflects Mike's unwavering commitment to Jesus Christ and his passion for guiding others in their faith journey.
Mike and his wife, Jeanette, reside in Rogers, Arkansas, where they cherish their family life. They are brimming with pride for their two daughters, Andrea and LeAnna, along with their husbands, Kyle and Levi. The laughter of their expanding circle of grandchildren fills their home, constantly reminding them of the joy and fulfillment that life and faith bring.
